About our Club
The Rhinefield Probus Club was founded in 1988 by Mr John Pavey.
The aim is to promote fellowship amongst retired professional and businessmen. The rules can be found here.
Located in Brockenhurst in the New Forest, Hampshire, it provides for retired professional and businessmen from an area based around Brockenhurst, Lymington, Milford-on-Sea, Sway, New Milton, Barton-on-Sea, Christchurch, Hythe and environs.
The Rhinefield Probus Club holds monthly meetings on the third Wednesday every month at the Balmer Lawn Hotel, Brockenhurst, commencing with coffee at 09:45 am. At 10:30 am there is a short business meeting followed by a talk on an interesting topic by a guest speaker.
After a question and answer period members enjoy an informal drink or chat prior to lunch which completes around 2 pm.

Additionally, a wide range of social events and activities, in which members and wives/partners may participate, are available. These include monthly Forest walks, theatre trips, visits to places of interest, occasional group outings to the Continent, social evenings, golf tournaments, etc.
