Each month the a member of the Club organises a walk followed by lunch at a nearby pub. All members and their partners are welcome to join the walks or just join the walkers for lunch. Dogs are welcome.
We usually have about twelve regular walkers (with wives and partners) and would welcome more so do give it a try, even if it is just for lunch.

Spoonbill Ornothological Spotting
ORGANISER: RICHARD VOIZEY
WALK: Circular walk round Pennington Marshes to get some fresh sea air and spot overwintering birds.
START: Park at the Chequers Inn car park, Ridgeway Lane, Lymington SO41 8AH OS reference 322936. We aim to start walking at 10.45. This should give plenty of time for twitching.
TERRAIN: Mainly level gravel paths but some quiet roads and short slopes. There is the chance however of some muddy patches.
DISTANCE: Up to about 3.0 miles but there are a number of short cuts if you don’t feel up to doing the full walk.
DOGS: Welcome at the pub and on the walk.
LUNCH: The Chequers Inn, hopefully with a 12.30 start.
The requirement to preorder food is dependent on numbers.
